A sports bookmaker has set the odds for MLS 2015.
The LA Galaxy are favorites to win for the fourth year in five at a miserly 10/3. NE Revolution the side they beat in last year’s final are third favorites, joint with ever improving DC United.
Splitting them are Sounders FC at 5/1. The longest odds are 50/1 which you can get for Colorado, San Jose Earthquakes, Philadelphia Union, Montreal Impact and Houston Dynamo.
Portland stand at 25/1 and Vancouver are well priced at 28. Bizarrely, two clubs who have never played a MLS game, New York City FC and Orlando have shorter odds. Real Salt Lake are at 10 and FC Dallas at 20.
The long odds on the Earthquakes seem very generous given that their new head coach Dominic Kinnear is a known quality at guiding his side to MLS Finals but may reflect just how hard it is expected to be, to emerge from the Western Conference.
