Not rain nor snow nor even impending lockout doom could stop this week’s Radio MLS podcast from getting made. Brian O’Connell (co-founder of New England Soccer Today, beat writer for the New England Revolution at ESPN FC,) Matt Hoffman (Portland Timbers beat writer for Prost Amerika,) and Sean Maslin (D.C. United beat writer for Prost Amerika) are back to talk about all things MLS and about where Matt is going for dinner.
In Part One, the fellas talk about the nail-biting conclusion to the MLS Collective Bargaining Agreement talks and whether or not the deal will end up being a good deal, a necessary deal, or both. They also talk the Montreal Impact’s shocking series victory over Pachuca and look at the difference at this series being won by a Canadian MLS team as opposed to an American MLS team.
In Part Two you get to hear Prost Amerika’s interview with Fox Sports lead commentator John Strong.
And in Part Three Brian, Matt, and Sean give their thoughts and insight into the 2015 MLS Season. Predictions are given and there may even be a Chivas USA reference dropped in for good measure. The gents also talk about their favorite opening day moments and the best tailgating that the league has to offer.
If you have a question for the show, please drop us your thoughts below. Although prizes cannot be given, you may hear your name read on air!
