FOXBOROUGH, MA–New England Revolution’s playoff hopes took a hit on Saturday night as they fell to CF Montreal, 1-0, at Gillette Stadium. The Revs are now in 11th, four points adrift of 7th-placed Columbus with just two matches to play. CF Montreal assured themselves of no worse than a second seed in the East.

The match’s only goal was scored by Alistair Johnston off a cross from Rommel Quioto in the 72nd minute.
