FRISCO, TX–After winning just one of their first nine matches to start the season, Vancouver Whitecaps have now won seven of their last ten in all competitions as they snatched just their second away win of the league campaign, 2-0 over FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium. Vancouver scored just two minutes in after Lucas Cavallini’s shot pinballed off Maarten Paes, off the post, and in tilting things in the Whitecaps’ favor. Then two minutes before halftime, Deiber Caicedo struck a free kick into the back of the net doubling the Whitecaps’ advantage.

Vancouver are now seven matches unbeaten against FC Dallas, who drop to fourth in the Western Conference and may drop further a spot if Nashville get maximum points against Sporting Kansas City on Sunday.
