New England Revolution End-of-Season Roster Moves

Foxborough, MA – The New England Revolution announced today their roster moves following the conclusion of its 2023 Major League Soccer (MLS) campaign.

For the 2024 season, New England entered the offseason with 17 players contractually guaranteed for the 2024 season. Those players are Earl Edwards Jr., Tomáš Vaclík, Dave Romney, Henry Kessler, DeJuan Jones, Brandon Bye, Tommy McNamara, Nacho Gil, Noel Buck, Jack Panayotou, Joshua Bolma, Matt Polster, Mark-Anthony Kaye, Ian Harkes, Giacomo Vrioni, Dylan Borrero, Esmir Bajraktarević, Malcolm Fry, and Bobby Wood

New England exercised their 1-year contract options on Andrew Farrell, Carles Gil, Jacob Jackson, Damian Rivera, Ryan Spaulding and Ian Harkes. Along with this, the club exercised the full-purchase option on Tomás Chancalay.

Also joining the first team next season from the New England Revolution II are Santiago Suarez, Peyton Miller, and Malcolm Fry.

Also set to join the club is Nick Lima, a defender from Austin FC

New England declined 2024 contract options for Emmanuel Boateng, Christian Makoun, Ben Sweat and Ben Reveno.

Defender Omar Gonzalez is out of contract at the end of the calendar year. He will not return. (December 31st, 2023).

Forwards Gustavo Bou and Justin Rennicks are out of contract at the end of the calendar year. Bou will not return. (December 31st, 2023).

Entering the 2024 campaign, New England’s roster stands at 27 players.

Goalkeepers (3): Earl Edwards Jr., Jacob Jackson, Tomáš Vaclík

Defenders (8): Dave Romney, Henry Kessler, Andrew Farrell, DeJuan Jones, Brandon Bye, Ryan Spaulding, Santiago Suarez, Peyton Miller, Ryan Lima

Midfielders (10): Carles Gil, Nacho Gil, Noel Buck, Jack Panayotou, Matt Polster, Mark-Anthony Kaye, Ian Harkes, Tommy McNamara Esmir Bajraktarević, Damian Rivera

Forwards (6): Giacomo Vrioni, Dylan Borrero, Malcolm Fry, Tomás Chancalay, Joshua Bolma, Bobby Wood
