The man is considered one amazing player for the Portland Timbers as Diego Chara reaffirmed his Ironman status last Saturday in his match against the San Jose Earthquakes as the Timbers and Quakes shared the spoils.
Chara in this season is key for the Portland Timbers’ defensive game as well an all-around leader. So far, accumulating records in every game the man plays, he’s simply one amazing player.
So far in the campaign, Diego Chara and Cristhian Paredes have been solid in the Timbers defensive midfield, Paredes was named for Team of the Matchday 18.
The Timbers have been in back-to-back mentions after last week for Cristhian Paredes and now for his mentor Diego Chara in Major League Soccer Team of the Matchday 19.
