Houston, TX-On Sunday night at BBVA Compass Stadium the Western New York Flash did the impossible not once, but twice. Thanks to two goals from Samantha Mewis and Lynn Williams the Flash came back two times to draw level with the Washington Spirit in the NWSL Championship. In penalties the Flash would triumph besting the Spirit 3-2 to capture their first-ever NWSL title.
