WORKING TITLE: 2016 – The Year in Women’s Soccer
Prost Publishing, a division of Prost Amerika, is proud to announce the publication of its first ever Women’s Soccer Yearbook.
Interest in women’s soccer is higher than ever in North America but few have truly covered the heart and soul of an entire year. The format of a Yearbook is popular in soccer across the globe and Prost is now bringing that to North America, with the first ever book entirely dedicated to Women’s Soccer.
Joining the regular beat writers at Prost Amerika will be the rest of the nation’s top writers on women’s soccer, partnering to produce the first ever version of what will become an annual publication.
You will be able to read about the best players, the biggest games, the champions and the memorable events of 2016. The book will cover the highs and lows of the season including the USWNT’s doomed quest for Olympic Gold in Rio to the winners of the NWSL.
There will player profiles on some of the top internationals. as well as coverage of controversies that had people talking throughout the year, including Hope Solo’s “coward” outburst against Pia Sundhage’s Sweden team.
The book will also contain color photographs from Prost Amerika’s beat photographers across North America.
The Women’s Soccer Yearbook is scheduled to be on sale in early December, in time for a great Christmas present.
