Toronto, ON- It has been noted that ants can often carry two to three times their own weight. If that is the case then the moniker the Atomic Ant is more than apt for Sebastian Giovinco. On a night where many flocked to BMO Field to see Bastian Schweinsteiger it was the Italian sensation and Toronto FC that proved that they were still the top draw in Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference. Thanks to a brace from Giovinco and a third by Eriq Zavaleta Toronto FC bested the fledgling Fire 3-1.
