If D.C. United center-back Bobby Boswell were to have a nickname it would be Mr. Consistency. In 12 seasons in Major League Soccer there have been very few defenders who have consistently shut down attackers as Boswell. Along with Steve Birnbaum, Taylor Kemp, and Sean Franklin Boswell has helped form one of the league’s best defensive groups and is a major reason for United’s turn around in recent seasons.
Ahead of United’s upcoming season Prost Amerika editor Sean Maslin had a chance to speak with Boswell about his offseason, the club’s SuperDraft pick Chris Odoi-Atsem, his defensive mates, and his favorite memories playing at RFK Stadium.
