Houston Dynamo midfielder Andrew Wenger was voted Major League Soccer Player of the Week by the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR) for the second week of the 2016 MLS season, MLS and the Houston Dynamo announced today. This marks the first time in Wenger is named POTW.
The award comes after Wenger’s performance in last Saturday’s 5-0 win over FC Dallas. Wenger provided two assists and a goal in the first half to help the Dynamo to a 4-0 lead at halftime.
