Portland Timbers Briefly

Is this team having a scoring drought? It certainly looks like it!

What is wrong with a team that General Manager Ned Gravaboy assembled to become an unstoppable winning machine, but somehow it hasn’t lived up to its full potential?

Certainly, something is wrong in Rose City and needs a fix to bounce back and deliver a wondrous campaign for all its faithful and die-hard supporters, but how will this solution come?

Can Gravaboy fix the academy somehow in a state of disarray? When will this team start signing HomeGrown players, something this team hasn’t done since its inception to Major League Soccer?

Academies are the foundations of a team and with some of its three alumni currently called up by the USMNT in its youth levels, this team’s future can look bright but with some attention in all its aspects.

This team needs to continue to fight to rescue its season and with a lot of commitment from its current base. I don’t know why this team cannot become an all-around fighter and make a turnaround for the best.

Still, this is a team effort and needs a commitment of excellence from all its players.

Just win Baby!

FC Dallas Briefly

So far, manager Nico Estevez is doing a good job at the helm of one of the best academies in all of Major League Soccer with FC Dallas currently running in fourth place in league play.

A team that has formed the likes of Weston McKennie (Juventus), Nico Carrera (Holstein Kiel), Chris Richards (Crystal Palace), Reggie Cannon (Boavista), Christian Cappis (Brondby LF), Ricardo Pepi (FC Groningen) and Bryan Reynolds (Westerlo).

FC Dallas’s work has paid off for the best of this club and with results very visible in this 2023 season, having a season that in postseason, this team can be one tough foe to beat.

My conclusion FC Dallas will be very tough to defeat, especially when it displays its game.
