54′ Ousted came up with a pair of massive saves just as Vancouver were beginning to turn the screw, DC almost capitalized on Teibert’s slip. Espindola laid a shot across goal, but Ousted superbly pushed it round the post. From the corner Chris Rolfe had a go from the edge of the box that Ousted flung himself at to keep the match level.

90+ The final stages were peppered with opportunities as Ousted made his way into the oppositions area for a pair of corners. Despite the pressure there was no way through and DC walked away with a hard fought three points.
If it wasn’t for Ousted it could of been a 5-1 game. Once the team went down to 10 men he stepped up and made sure to give his teammates in front of him a chance to tie the game up. It is about time for his teammates to step up for Ousted and not the way it has been going all season. Would be scary to think or where this team would be without him this season.
Beitashour 6.5
Made some decent runs down the wing this game. Needs to improve on his crosses into the box. Was caught to far into the middle of the pitch way too often in the 2nd half. Having played all 90 minutes in every game this season maybe time to play Sampson and give Beitahour a rest.
Waston 7.0
Stepped up and covered for Kah’s defensive mistakes all game long. made some nice runs on crosses but Morales wasn’t able to get him the ball. Had a nice yell at Morales on one late in the second half about him not being able to get the ball in a decent spot in the box. Very happy he didn’t pick up a yellow card so he can play next week versus Portland.
It was an evening to forget for Pa-Modou Kah, his performance littered with cheap giveaways.
Every game for Kah is an adventure this season. Made his one brutal mistake and DC wasn’t able to capitalize on it but then Kah continued to make mistakes all game long. He is always out of position on the pitch, always chasing or not looking where he is making passes to. Lets hope Rodriguez is back healthy for next game.
9’ Sam Adekugbe was a lucky boy to only see yellow after a reckless lunge early on.
Finally had his lunging slide tackled catch up to him, kinda. Sure he only got a yellow in the 9th minute because the DC players whined about the call way after the tackle. This is the 3rd time this season where he was put the referee in a spot to give him a silly yellow card. He is now one more yellow card away for a MLS suspension.
RED 42′ Matias Laba’s night ended in the first half. A desperate foul on Espindola made it easy for Dave Gantar to show him his second yellow card. Laba had been charging around like a bull in a china shop for much of the first half.
Was unlucky to get his first yellow card of the game, looked like the ball hit him in the midsection. Was a very silly play to pick up his 2nd yellow just 8 minutes later on a play where there was no reason to touch the DC player with the ball. He put the referee in a spot where he had to make the call.
Teibert 6.0
Showed great hustle all game long but was caught chasing on the DC winning goal. Had very bad distribution all game long though. Seemed to be trying to do way too much with the ball after Laba was sent off. Was way too rushed with the ball and by not having Laba as that safety valve it showed when the ball got turned over.
Rosales 6.5
Still not up to the same pace he was before his ankle injury but is slowly getting there. Was able to use the room down the wing and get some decent buildup in the first half.
Morales 6.0
Opened his goal scoring account, that was good. Took a silly yellow card, that was okay. Had brutal distribution all game long, that sucked. Took too many high risk chances with his passes. Had chances to make the easy pass that would of continued the possession for the team but instead made the pass that turned the ball over time and time again. Looked like he was trying to do way to much after missing last weeks game due to his red card versus San Jose.
Mattocks 6.0
Didn’t really get a chance to get into this game. When he got the ball and it wasn’t that often he could muster anything with it. Disappointing after all he did well in the RSL game last week.
55′ The game began to surge end to end. Octavio Rivero turned inside and curled an effort off the post and Morales’ follow up was blocked by a wall of DC bodies.
Great pass to Morales to setup the first goal of the game. Had to vision to find Pedro wide open in the box. had two or three chances to find the goal himself but his touch was off all game long. Was excellent with his holding up of the ball and fighting for every inch in the box.
Koffie 7.0
Came on at half to cover for Laba being sent off. Had some nice strong runs with the ball and got the play moving towards the DC net. Was very lucky to not be caught out of position more then he did.
Manneh 6.0
Came on as a late sub and wasn’t able to get into or make a difference in the game
Techera 7.0
Showed some flashes out what he can offer this team. Played very well showing off how he uses his low center of gravity to get around defenders down the wing. Might be able to get some soft calls due to his lack of height.
