Waived by Crew, Berhalter in 2016 Gall making waves this season in Sweden.

Former Crew player now Allsvenskan Swedish top flight midfielder Romain Gall had 2 goals in 24 appearances his first season in the Allsvenskan in 2017. 

In 2018 though he has really caught fire, with 5 goals in 8 appearances for Sundsvall. 

The former Crew player, who made three appearances for Columbus in 2014, 2015 before being loaned to USL affiliate (at the time) the Austin Aztex; was then waived by Berhalter in 2016 yet has to now be gaining some international attention.

I wonder if Berhalter admits getting that one wrong in the end? 

Good on him for finding the talent but perhaps sometimes you pull the trigger on talent a bit early when it doesn’t mature right away.

Berhalter has a question or two on that in his current roster. 
Perhaps the opposite question as there may be one or two he may have given the opportunity to a bit too long.

I also wonder if Gall may start getting some USMNT call ups?
