Tukwila, WA–Sounders FC head coach Brian Schmetzer pulled no punches in openly rooting for Montreal Impact to defeat Toronto FC later this afternoon.
A Montreal win would allow Seattle, with the better overall record, to host the MLS Cup Final. If Toronto FC should defeat the Impact, they would be the home team against the Sounders.
Schmetzer also provided updates on the playing and injury status of Clint Dempsey, Jordan Morris and captain Osvaldo Alonso.
