Chelsea FC were given the traditional Welcome to Country ceremony on their visit to Perth, Western Australia. The Blues won Maurizio Sarri’s first game 1-0 at the Optus Stadium.
A Welcome to Country is where an elder of the native Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community from the local region welcomes visitors to their land. Accompanied by the didgeridoo, a traditional Aboriginal instrument, Chelsea were welcomed to Western Australia.
