Starting XI
Ousted 7.0
– Was the only player that showed up for the game. Without Ousted would of easily been 7-0 DC United
Aird 4.0
– Neagle beat him over and over again down the wing and got crosses into the box with ease. Easily his worst game of the season.
Waston 4.5
– Himself and Parker where all over the place and not in the good way. Struggled with tracking down player on the top of the box.
Parker 4.5
– Proabaly his worst game of his young pro career. Got beat over top and down his side of the pitch way too easily.
Harvey 5.5
– Whitecaps defenders of the year so far but he had a game to forget also. Was the best defender this game also but that is not saying much.
Teibert 5.5
– It was nice to see Teibert get some minutes this season but he has lost all offensive ability in his game. Looks too indecisive when the ball is at his feet and open field is in front of him.
Jacobson 6.5
– Filled in for suspended player Matias Laba and was one of the only bright spots on the pitch.
Bustos 4.0
– His 1st MLS start was a horrible nightmare for young Bustos. Has a very bright future but this is a game to forgot for him.
Techera 6.0
– Could not find his groove all game long. Always had two or three DC defenders crowded him and his teammates did not help him out.
Perez 6.0
– Had the best Whitecaps chance of the game with a howler over the bar. Didn`t link up well at all with Kudo.
Kudo 4.0
– Was invisible all game long, didn`t go into the physical areas and let the DC defenders dictate his game. Needs to learn to get physical or he will be a bust this season.
Subs
Manneh 6.0
– Was subbed to add a spark to the 2nd half and that plan fizzled almost right away. Needs to find his role on the pitch for this team.
Froses 5.5
– Was nice to see him back after dealing with injuries the past few weeks. Was one of the only players to play physical and throw his body around.
Hurtado 6.5
– The silver bullet came on the pitch and rang a shot off the bar right away. Would of been a huge goal for Hurtado who has not scored since 2014.
