On Thursday night, November 10, the Philadelphia Union foundation hosted it’s 4th annual Cocktails and Cleats dinner. Union players and technical staff mingled with the foundation members in a lighthearted celebration of the wonderful contribution made for the community.
Union commentator Tommy Smyth auctioned off various items to benefit the charity, such as signed memorabilia, jewelry, and personal training sessions with players and coaches.
The Union foundation raised over $100,000 for various programs through Cocktails and Cleats such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Fare and Square Food Market, Soccer for Success, pitch constructions and other community endeavors.
