Toronto FC 1 – Philadelphia Union 2

Toronto, ON – In an ecounter where everything looks under control for the Canadian team, the hazard was a potential enemy yesterday afternoon.

Looking for a third consecutive victory, Philadelphia Union was following all the propositions of TFC from the beginning, having a few dangerous opportunities from the The Man of New Jersey, Jozy Altidore, defending well against the arsenal of the local group.

The scoreboard got it’s first mark from a very unfortunate autogoal from one of TFC’s best defensemen, Chris Mavinga at minute 25′.  The local team went to break with this black cloud overctheir head.

On the 51′, El Matador Pozuelo, executes a free kick on the short area scoring a Golazo of first caliber.

Once the situation got equalized, Jamiro Monteiro makes the goal of triumph at minute 68′.

With this result, the guys of Jim Curtin were able to fight until the end and neutralize tactically any possible reaction from the Reds.
