June in California isn’t for everybody. For Danny Hoesen it appears to suit him just fine. For the second time in a week Hoesen lifted the spirits of the San Jose Earthquakes supporters late. In the 84th minute Hoesen’s goal gave the Quakes all that they would need to down the Seattle Sounders and move on in the 217 U.S. Open Cup.
