Trio of Revolution players feature in MLS Team of the Matchday 19

FOXBOROUGH, MA– Following the New England Revolution’s 3-1 victory over Orlando City SC, defender Dave Romney, midfielder Carles Gil and forward Gustavo Bou have made the MLS Team of the Week!

This is Carles Gil’s 5th appearance in MLS Team of the Week. He has appeared on the bench of Team of the Week (Matchday 6), a starter the week after in the following Team of the Week (Matchday 7) named Player of the Matchday (Matchday 16), and had another starting appearance in last weeks team of the week (Matchday 18)

This is Gustavo Bou’s 2nd appearance in MLS Team of the Week. He last appeared on the bench of Team of the week (Matchday 4).

This is Dave Romney’s first appearance in MLS Team of the Week this season.

Bou managed to play the full 90 minutes and obtained an 8.5 match rating according to Fotmob. Offensively, Gustavo had 1 goal on 5 total shots (100% accuracy) with 1 assist. In the attack, Bou went 25/34 (74%) on accurate passes with 2 chances created. He managed 53 touches with 1/2 successful dribbles (50%). His passes in the final third tallied 2 with 0/5 (0%) accurate crosses and 1/2 (50%) accurate long balls.
