The Philadelphia Union were reminded of the scars from the Atlanta FC double red card debacle, facing Toronto with a hobbled midfield.  Prior to the Atlanta game, the Union’s distribution had been crisp, but Philadelphia missed Alejandro Bedoya’s consistency and Haris Medunjanin’s game presence. Ilsinho stepped up, but his effort fell short with Toronto  breaking through the Union’s defense to score twice.

Ilsinho leaps to control the ball, while Keegan Rosenberry and Michael Bradley watch on.

Warren Creavalle in the midfield, while Toronto’s Jonathan Osoria delays his advances.

The Union’s Ray Gaddis and Auston Trusty surround Toronto’s Jay Chapman

Gaddis did well with Tornoto’s Sebastion Giovinco, covering and pulling calls all night long.

Michael Bradley going up for a header in lots of company.

Toronto’s Gregory van der Wiel narrowly escaping an own goal.

Philadelphia’s Fafa Picault by himself, looking to pass.

The Union’s Marcus Epps, reaching for the ball.
