On the debut of Lorenzo Insigne, Toronto FC got a very early goal from Jonathan Osorio which opened the scoring in the fourth minute, then after 3 years of standstill, Michael Bradley awoke and scored the second goal of the match at minute 10..
Since 2018, when competing in the Concacaf Champions League, we didn’t see Michael Bradley play like he did last night. Surely he feels the composition he has now with the inclusion of the Seríe A talents along side him.
At minute 31, Federico Bernardechi made it 3-0 and just before going to break, an assist by Lorenzo Insigne. Once again, the captain, Michael Bradley closed the half and scored the definitive fourth goal turning all the lights on the Italian players and the great performance of the Canadian Team.
The second half slowed down tremendously, showing the strategy from Bradley to keep the numbers on the scoreboard intact and shield the arc from goals on the Alex Bono arc.
