Felipe Mora is one red hot hombre with back-to-back Team of the Week calls (Weeks 22 and 23). Mora has been the most notable on the Portland Timbers starting eleven. His role in their wins over Seattle and Houston on the road has been important!
With his assist and scoring a goal in the win over Seattle and again repeating with an assist and a goal against Houston, Mora leads the team with nine goals and has tallied four assists. He has started in 13 of 18 appearances in this 2021 campaign. In his time with Portland, he has a total of 26 starts in 37 appearances in his two seasons with the Rose City side.
This is the third time Mora made it into the Team of the Week (6, 14, 23) and sixth overall when he appeared on the bench three times (Week 17,20,22). The Santiago de Chile native has been valuable in the Timbers attack with more amazing performances to follow in the season.
