Thanks to social media, sales for the book started at a clip and then very soon rose to the top of the Powells Best Sellers list.
With a Foreword by the legendary Timber Jim Serrill, “Cup Bound & Crowned” covers all aspects of the Timbers Cup Winning season with special chapters devoted to the inside story of the log drama, and a touching portrait of Portland’s Latin influence by Argentinian author Diego Diaz.

With a massive marketing budget of zero, which we spent wisely, it was Timbers fans ordering online who spread the word.
English wizard Harry Potter could not halt the power of the Cup Bound journey as JK Rowling’s “Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone: Illustrated Edition” and “Harry Potter: Coloring Book #1” were pushed down to places 2 and 3 in the table.
3 days later, the soccer book still tops the table and their seems to be no spell Mr Potter can conjure up stronger than the connection between Portland people and their team.
