Cascadia will play its first ever home game on July 27th at French Field in Kent, WA where their opponents will be Darfur United.
After a successful CONIFA World Football Cup last summer, the fixture will be the first ever CONIFA event in the Americas.
It kicks off at 1pm kick off, a time chosen so that Portland Timbers, Sounders FC and Vancouver Whitecaps fans can get home in time for their clubs’ MLS matches.
French Field is situated at 10020 Southeast 256th Street, Kent, WA 98030
Already plans are in motion to help Timers fans go to the game while still supporting their local side. To show their support for Cascadia and to help people get to the game and back in time for the Timbers home game, the Timbers Army has organized a bus from the Rose City to Kent for the game.

The 107ist website is enthusiastic about the historic match:
“This is the sale for bus transportation to the FIRST EVER CONIFA match played in North America between Cascadia and Darfur United.
Tickets to the match will need to be purchased here and are only $8 (plus fees) if you use the discount code “107”. This has been planned to be able to hopefully have everyone back in town for the evening’s Timbers home match.
If you have any questions, please email awaytravel@107ist.org. We will respond to your email as soon as possible.”
There are other attractions beside the soccer and making history. Abe Goldman Armstrong who also runs the Cider Riot Brewery, organized the bus. He posted the following on Facebook:
“I am super excited for Cascadia’s first home match vs. Darfur United, July 27 in Kent.
Portland folks please join me on the bus. We will be pouring cider and the bus will be back in time for the Timbers match that night. Washington and BC folks I hope to see you there.”

Cascadia have only played matches in London up to this point. Their first games were in the 2018 ConIFA Cup where they played six games at Sutton United, Fisher Athletic and Carshalton.
This summer they played their first ever friendly, beating the Chagos Islands 6-3 at Whyeleafe.
However, they will make a brand new piece of history in Kent this month.
