The Portland Timbers releases their full 2023 preseason schedule

The Portland Timbers are entering their 13th season in Major League Soccer, with the players reporting to training camp on January 6 at the Timbers Training Facility.

The Timbers will travel to Phoenix, Arizona from January 15-21. They are scheduled to play a friendly preseason match against Sporting Kansas City on January 21st at Phoenix Rising FC Soccer Complex, with kickoff set for 11 a.m. (Pacific time). This match will not be open to the public.

Portland will close out their preseason playing in the 2023 Coachella Valley Invitational from February 6-18 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California alongside 11 other MLS teams. The Timbers will kick off against the LA Galaxy on Sunday, February 12 at 10:30 a.m., before facing Toronto FC for a midweek on Wednesday February 15 at 2:00 p.m.

The Timbers will play their last match of the tournament, facing off against New York City FC on Saturday, February 18 at 12 p.m. all games are scheduled on Pacific Standard Time. The Coachella Valley Invitational will be open to fans with tickets on sale at www.CoachellaValleyInvitational.com.

The Portland Timbers will kick off their 34-game 2023 Major League Soccer regular season against Sporting Kansas City on February 25th at Providence Park at 7:30 p.m. (PST). All Timbers and MLS matches will be streamed live through the Apple TV app on Apple Devices, smart TVs, streaming devices, set top boxes and game consoles.
