The Portland Timbers placed four players in MLS is Back Tournament Best XI

With the MLS is Back Tournament in the books, the Portland Timbers became the highlight of the event and after delighting with their superb performances, they placed four players in the Best XI with defender Larrys Mabiala, midfielders Diego Chara and tournament Top Player Sebastian Blanco, and forward Jeremy Ebobisse.

Diego Chara every match (seven) and every minute total of (630) in the competition as well as making a total of 300 appearances with the Timbers in all competitions rank as the most in club history.

Larrys Mabiala played in six games of the tournament and with an assist in the Houston match and scoring a goal against Orlando City in the final.

Jeremy Ebobisse scored a team-best four goals and tied for third in the overall tournament In addition to his scoring, Jebo contributed with an assist for Dario’s Zuparic game-winning goal in the final against Orlando and made six appearances.

Sebastian Blanco was named MLS is Back player of the Tournament Player with five assists and three goals scored along with being responsible for his club’s 14 goal scored and involved in eight of them.

Goalkeeper: Andre Blake (Philadelphia Union)

Defenders:  Larrys Mabiala (Portland Timbers), Mark McKenzie (Philadelphia Union), João Moutinho (Orlando City SC), Ruan (Orlando City SC)

Midfielders: Brenden Aaronson (Philadelphia Union), Sebastián Blanco (Portland Timbers), Diego Chara (Portland Timbers)

Forwards: Jeremy Ebobisse (Portland Timbers), Nani (Orlando City SC), Diego Rossi (Los Angeles Football Club)
