The Portland Timbers made some roster changes ahead for this upcoming 2020 season, while some players were left out, one loan assured and others still in negotiations along with a new addition.

As the club still is ongoing negotiations with their Talisman player Diego Valeri, many expect that the Argentinian will remain in Rose City and hopefully we are to hear some good news soon!

So far, recently announcing its first move of the season with the arrival of experience center- back in  Croatian Dario Zuparic, the club using Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) to a multi-year contract.

The club has extended for six more months the loan Argentina’s Super Liga giant River Plate for the services of Jorge Moreira.

The Rose City side is still negotiating with Mexico’s Liga MX side Club America to see the return of Cristhian Paredes, as his loan expires at the end of the year.

The club also announced that they made a bona fide offer to goalkeeper Steve Clark as last season sensation, still, he must accept the new terms of his new contract.

However, the club did not exercise the options on goalkeeper Kendall McIntosh, defenders Modou Jadama and Claude Dielna and forward Foster Langsdorf all of them being out of contract.

This is the Portland Timbers roster for the 2020 season.
