The Portland Timbers 2022 Schedule

The Portland Timbers enter their 12th season in Major League Soccer. On Wednesday, the league revealed today its fixture list for the 2022 season. The Timbers will host the New England Revolution to kick off the regular season on Saturday, February 26 at Providence Park.

In the upcoming season, the Rose City side will face off at home against four Eastern Conference teams in Atlanta United FC, New England Revolution, Orlando City SC, and the Philadelphia Union. On the road, they will face off against Columbus Crew SC, Inter Miami CF, New York Red Bulls, and Toronto FC.

So far, the breakdown of games the league announced for the Timbers on its home dates, playing on Wednesday (2), Friday (1), Saturday (8) and Sunday (6), on the road Wednesday (2), Saturday (10) and Sunday (5).

Games dates by month will be as following February (1), March (4), April (5), May (5), June (3), July (5), August (6), September (3), October (2). The home game breakdown:  February (1), March (2), April (2), May (2), June (2), July (2), August (3), September (2), October (1). The dates on the road:  March (2), April  (3), May (3), June (1), July (3), August (3), September (1), October (1).

Major League Soccer will begin early, with the kickoff on Saturday, February 26 and running through Decision Day, the regular-season finale, on October 9. The 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs will be directly following the regular season with three consecutive weeks of action leading to the 2022 MLS Cup on Saturday, November 5, two weeks prior to the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar on November 21st.
