Toronto, ON – What an afternoon at BMO Field, the match between these two contenders is fast becoming an MLS Classic, thanks to all the goals and opportunities on the attack generated by both rivals.
The MLS Champion, Toronto FC, opens the game with a very good proposition at the front, but the Man of New Jersey, Jozy Altidore, went too far with his indiscipline and got the red card at just minute 11’, after a foul on Alexander Callens.
For a guy of Altidore’s category, it is unacceptable to leave his group with 10 playerd, and it is very important to remember, he just recently came back from an injury.
That factor provides an opening for the Spanish, David Villa, who reappears with his club and without mercy scores on Bono’s door.
The Vanney Boys were against the wall one more time, but the courage of, Il Capo, Sebastian Giovinco which brings him to equalize this accelerated match.
The Canadian team didn’t expect the great performance offered from the Libyan, Ismael Tajouri, who with a powerful shot and with some collaboration from Bono, makes his first mark in the encounter.
The actions keep heating this classic in the second half, with a great complicity of Marky Delgado and Jonathan Osorio, putting the ball on the way of The International, Victor Vazquez, who scores and gives some oxygen to the Reds.
Unfortunately the Libyan nightmare appears not to far far from the end to kill TFC and send them off with decreased chances towards the playoffs.
Although the Reds played most on this match with one man down, a consistent decrease in the defense line was once again on display.
