Sporting Kansas City Returns Home
After two consecutive loses within a week Sporting Kansas City returns to the friendly confines of Children’s Mercy Park and perhaps the good form they had before leaving on a two match road trip.
At this point in the second half of the MLS season points dropped here and there accumulate to the difference in making the playoffs and Conference Semifinals. As found out in the last two seasons the play-in playoff game is a crap shoot.
Hosting a team like Seattle whom have been the proverbial bogey team for Sporting Kansas City will be giving Peter Vermes and company the perfect opportunity to exercise their demons with the Sounders having an off year.
Things seem to be lined up.

A late as you could ask Alex Molano 95th minute strike ensured that the points would be shared as the Rangers visited southern Colorado.
For SPR they have been hovering outside of the playoff places for some time but with a quick turnaround with a match at home to Orange County every point matters in the first year in USL.
Daniel Salloi Loan Club Change
Initially loaned to Vasas SC of the Hungarian top flight the loan has been switched to newly promoted club Gyirmot FC Gyor.
Yes a mouthful and weird with the change but with a newly promoted club more will be asked of the youngster.
Currently at the helm is former Sporting KC youth coach Istvan Urbanyi who left earlier in the season to become the new manager.
Connection made and no doubt that Salloi will be the focal point in the club’s year in the top flight.
Matt Besler Named MLS All-Star
Not exactly having the most stellar of 2016 club captain Matt Besler was selected to the MLS All-Star roster for the game on July 28 against Arsenal from North London.
Besler’s selection is for the fourth consecutive season and fifth overall in his career.
