Seattle met Tijuana in an international friendly on Tuesday night, ahead of their clash with FC Dallas in Saturday.
Lamar Neagle opened the scoring, nodding home Cristian Roldan’s redirection on Aaron Kovar’s cross.
Dayro Moreno equalised ten minutes later, punishing a Brad Evans turnover. The striker found the post with his first effort before slotting away the rebound from a tight angle.
Seven minutes later, the away side had the lead following a quick counter. Alfredo Moreno played through for Daryo Moreno, whose square ball was tapped in by Richard Ruiz.
Seattle made four halftime changes, bringing on Chad Barrett, Victor Mansaray, Andres Correa, and Andy Rose.
Rose made his mark on 56 minutes, helping on a Kovar cross into the far left corner for 2-2.
It was all Seattle in the second half, dominating the possession and rarely allowing Tijuana to play in their attacking third.
The Sounders pushed for a winner, but didn’t create anything clear-cut before the full time whistle. 2-2.
