CHICAGO, IL—Soldier Field was announced as the venue for the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup Final. It is the third time that Soldier Field will host the Final after 2007 and 2013 and will set a record for a single venue to host matches for the Gold Cup for a sixth time.

This is truly a remarkable city that welcomes and unites fans from across the region, who share the love for our game,” said Concacaf President Victor Montagliani. “Celebrating the final of this expanded edition of Gold Cup at Soldier Field, honors the tradition of a world-class competition that is embedded in the culture of our football fans.”
The Final is scheduled for July 7th, 2019. The field will be expanded to 16 teams for 2019 and will include 14 other venues in addition to Soldier Field:

The six teams that made the Hexagonal in last year’s World Cup Qualifying—Mexico, USA, Costa Rica, Honduras, Panama, and Trinidad and Tobago—qualify automatically for the tournament with the first four nations mentioned in that list being seeded teams. The remaining ten spots will be determined through Concacaf Nations League Qualifiers, to be played on FIFA match dates in September, October, and November of 2018, and March of 2019.
