Seattle welcomes LAFC in season opener

The Seattle Sounders kick off their tenth season in MLS today against expansion side LAFC. The Sounders already playing their 3rd game after qualifying for the quarterfinals of the Scotia Bank Concacaf Champions League.

The Sounders are expected to field a strong side since a quick start to the season is a must. LAFC a bit of a unknown as expansion sides often are but Bob Bradley will have a team ready to play. The Sounders come into this game with one eye on today and one eye on Wednesday huge clash against Chivas of Guadalajara. Today could mark the debut of Seattle’s newest signing, center-back Kim Kee Hee. The South Korean international

Players to watch for LAFC Diego Rossi, Benny Feilhaber, and Mexican International Carlos Vela. It will also be  homecoming for on loan Aaron Kovar as well as goalkeeper Tyler Miler who was picked up in the expansion draft in December. The match kicks off at 2pm PST/5pm EST and can be seen live on ESPN.
