Darwin Jones completed his hat trick on 50 minutes, cleaning up a deflected Andy Craven cross from the right wing. The forward subbed off to a standing ovation, earning man of the match honors.
The match settled after Seattle’s fourth goal, and chances were hard to come by in the last 40 minutes.
Vancouver started to get a foothold on the hour mark, but couldn’t turn any possession into chances. The match ended, a resounding 4-0 win for S2.
S2 moves to 2-0, while WFC2 sits at 0-1. S2 next takes on rivals Portland in Tukwila, while the Thundercaps play away in Austin on Tuesday.
