Rose City is honored by the Portland Timbers with its new secondary jersey for the 2022 season

Today was the kit day in Major League Soccer where several teams unveiled their new kits for the upcoming 2022 season. For the Portland Timbers, they joined the flow and revealed a new kit to become their secondary jersey featuring Alaska Airlines and Tik Tok as the club’s official jersey partners.

The Portland Timbers with its Heritage Rose jerseys feature a dynamic, pink forward colorway highlighted by a rose floral pattern across the front with a base in the jersey rooted in Vapour Pink with accents in Victory Crimson across the collar, shoulder, and sleeve cuffs. A designed vibrant and themed kit as an ode to Rose City.

For Timbers president of business Mike Golub, the man couldn’t hide his excitement with the collaboration the club has with Adidas, pushing the boundaries for one of the club’s most distinct of kits as well as the excitement to share it with the club supporters.

A homage to Rose City is what this Heritage Rose jersey comes with a bold and unique pattern those fans and players alike will wear very proudly during the season. The jocktag located in the bottom right of the jersey is a custom art composition inspired by “RCTID”. in addition to an image of a skull and a rose with a Latin translation of Rose City Til I Die, and the King of clubs playing card, a nod to the famous tifo by the Timbers Army.

The kit comes in authentic, replica, women’s and kid silhouettes and will be available online starting Tuesday, February 15 at 9:00 a.m. (PST). As well the PTFC kits will be available on the team store located at Providence Park at 11:00 a.m. the club announce that due to shipping delays only limited quantities and size runs will be available for in-store inventory prior to the regular season.

The club announced that set to debut and wear the new pink and crimson kits at the 2022 season opener at Providence Park on February 26 at 4:30 p.m. PST against the New England Revolution.
