FOXBOROUGH, MA– The New England Revolution have signed veteran defender Ben Sweat to the club’s MLS roster.
He will occupy a supplemental roster slot for the remainder of 2023 and has a club option for the 2024 season.
Ben Sweat is a 6’2, 175lb, left back from Palm Harbor, Florida.
Sweat, who has 121 MLS appearances (106 starts) joins his sixth MLS club in New England. He previously suited up for Columbus Crew (2014), New York City FC (2017-19), Inter Miami (2020), Austin FC (2021), and Sporting Kansas City (2021-22).
On April 5th, Sporting Kansas City announced that Sweat was being waived by the club.

The New England Revolution (5-2-1, 17 pts.) return home to Foxborough to face Sporting Kansas City (0-3-54, 3 pts.) at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, April 22. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app.
