FOXBOROUGH, MA– The New England Revolution II have announced that they have signed defender Moshtaba Al-Hasnawi to an MLS NEXT Pro professional contract for the remainder of the 2024 campaign.
He will occupy a Senior roster slot.
Moshtaba Al-Hasnawi is a 5’11, 150 lb defender from Dearborn, Michigan.
Al-Hasnawi, 23, signs with New England after a 5-year tenure at the University of Michigan (2019-23). During that time, Al-Hasnawi logged 27 starts across 48 appearances. He is a four-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
Prior to his collegiate career, Al-Hasnawi trained with the Vardar Soccer Club and Stoke City FC Academy.
In career numbers, Al-Hasnawi has 3 goals, 4 assists, 2 yellow cards, and 0 red cards during his 5-year tenure with the University of Michigan Wolverines.
