Toronto, ON – The wave of bad results continues for Javier Perez after the defeat against Inter Miami on home turf.
Toronto FC has no face since the beginning of the season, the poor performance of the midfielders and the improvisation of some forwards while leaving on the sideline awesome players such as Pozuelo or The Man of New Jersey, Jozy Altidore.
Miami was playing at the same rhythm as TFC, even with certainly some fear to confront this Canadian team.
Unfortunately for the Perez group, the goal of Christian Makoun came in the extra minutes added by the referee and there vanished the three point for TFC.
Tomorrow evening, another home game in front of the Reds’ fan base. They are to face the southern team of Nashville who they have yet to beat in this 2021 season (one loss and one tie).
This next match comes at the cusp of TFC announcing that longtime defender Justin Morrow will be retiring at the end of the season after 12 years in the MLS and the last 8 of those with TFC. Morrow has seen many great season defending with the Canadian team, wish he could have gone out with a better season as this one which has been a great struggle.
