Sporting KC and FC Dallas have the most generous looking odds

The bookies odds are out and there some surprisingly generous odds out there for soccer gamblers.
While NYRB at 4-1 and LA Galaxy at 5-1 should not tempt anyone out of their money, further down the list lie some interesting and possibly attractive options.
Sporting Kansas were only eliminated by an incredible penalty shoot out in Portland and otherwise might well be champions. This was in a season where they lost seven first team players and were forced to promote players once thought of as squaddies into the first team. 20-1 to win MLS Cup and 8-1 to win the tough Western Conference seem decent odds, with the former the better bet.
FC Dallas lie at 12-1 to win the cup and given how they improve year on year, that could tempt some Texas high rollers. Chicago Fire at 100-1 are the longest shot but in a league with salary caps and parity, that could be a decent punt for a side whose new coach is largely unknown to opponents. Any side can make the playoffs in the weaker Eastern Conference, and if you had a betting slip wit 100-1 on it, you’d already be feeling pretty smug if the Fire made it.
Seattle’s large fanbase could be attracted to a 14-1 bet before heavy betting on it reduces the odds. Vancouver Whitecaps at 12-1 seems a very ungenerous offer, given their lack of credentials in finishing off good starts and their record in finals.
Orlando at 16-1 just to reach the Final also catches the eye. Few expansion sides fail to improve just a little in their second year.
