The Western Conference table still sees our clubs near the bottom, but the results are starting to get better! Vancouver upset FC Dallas 3-0 at BC Place over the weekend, and followed it up with a strong draw down a man to SKC on Wednesday. Meanwhile, after an 11 day break the Timbers drew 1-1 at New England. They now face a visit from their former captain Will Johnson along with the rest of a star-studded TFC roster on Sunday at Providence Park. Seattle dropped a 3-1 decision at Colorado, but have a chance to right the ship with a home match against struggling Columbus this weekend.
On this week’s edition, we discuss how the younger components of Seattle’s 4-3-3 have hampered its effectiveness, Vancpuver’s problem with strikers and goals, and the key to a successful Timbers counter attack. That’s not to mention previews of all 3 of this weekend’s Cascadia-versus-Eastern-Conference games!
