Dylan Remick helps lead the youth movement in Seattle.

T2 assistant coach Andrew Gregor features in Episode 38 of Radio Cascadia, discussing the first few weeks of life in the USL. Matt Hoffman speaks to him on-site in Portland, comprising the last segment of this week’s show.

Before we get to any special interviews, there’re three Cascadia wins to recap and discuss first! It was a 9 from 9 weekend for our clubs, and that means it’s a (mostly) happy episode. Does Portland’s win over Dallas finally open the floodgates for their attack? How big of a deal is 4 straight wins for Vancouver, including three coming very late and another against the defending champions? Should Sounders be worried about style? We answer all these questions, and address a few more.

Previews of next weekend’s clashes receive their time, but so does Tissue Gate this week. We investigate if there’s anything to the idea that the league could use some more excitement like this. Who ended up looking like a jerk? Who was in the right? We take Caleb Porter’s side, but be sure to leave us your take in the comments section.

Steven provides us with a special anecdote in our Seattle segment, dubbed this week as “The Epic of Siegfried Schmid.” Don’t miss it.
