The Portland Timers have announced today that they extended the contract of forward Felipe Mora to an extension through 2025 with a club option in 2026. Mora, 29, is set to enter his fourth season at Portland.

The Chilean striker has scored 19 goals and tallied 7 assists in 55 regular season games (35 starts) for the Portland Timbers. In the 2022 season, just recorded one goal in 78 minutes played after finishing the 2022 season with a team leading 11 goals and five assists (27 points).

For the Timbers Technical Director Ned Grabavoy “We have confidence that he can return to being an impact level player for us, a take pride in him being a member of this club”. “We have a strong belief in Felipe as both a player and a person. This is a unique situation in which Felipe’s unselfishness to work with the club in restructuring the contract, affords us the ability to continue to fully support him in his rehab process.
