So far, this season for the Portland Timbers midfielder Eryk Williamson has been a display of what this young man can do in the field and delivering in several games as a starter or just a substitute.

The man has attracted a number of interested suitors from several European leagues, but a problem is being constantly injured. However, he has not being discarded to be in the roster with the USMNT for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar 2022.

Per Major League Soccer sources, the man is touted as a fourth string behind the likes of Weston McKennie, Yunus Musah, and Luca de la Torre. Despite this position I can foresee him fighting for third spot although seen as a long shot.

For Williamson, he never ceases to amaze me with his game and won’t be surprised if US manager Greg Berthalter gives him the opportunity as well be in the September camp with the US National team and gets a definite call.

Every time he’s on the field, the man is a difference maker for his team the Portland Timbers, where he already has delivered memorable and game winning performances.
