The Portland Timbers, after humbling Austin FC at home this past Wednesday night, placed a couple of its players in the Week 28 Team of the Week.
With defensive players in midfielder Eryk Williamson and center back Zac McGraw both selected after displaying a one of kind performance, these results delivered an upset win over heavily-favored Austin FC at home.
For Eryk Williamson, USMNT international, the man all game long dictated the game with an assist and a shot that became the second goal of the match.
Contrary to Zac McGraw, who lately has become the starting center back and with a notable defensive game, in the end he became the game hero by scoring the game winner in the 73rd minute.
