Portland Timbers and Thorns to increase their capacity to 80 percent at Providence Park starting June 19

Both Portland Timbers and Thorns are looking forward to June 19th and 20th, to increase their fan attendance to 80% at Providence Park. The Portland Timbers will do it for the game against Sporting Kansas City on June 19th and the Thorns vs Kansas City of the NWSL the next day.

The requisites for these games will be proof of your COVID-19 vaccination upon entry to the stadium along with acceptable forms of proof of CDC Vaccination cards or a photo of the card on a mobile device. The cardholders must be at least two weeks past receiving their second dose in a two-dose series from (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), or a single dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccines.

For the Timbers and Thorns, FC Annual Members will receive their seats for the remaining home regular-season matches this season. Soon tickets go on sale for single matches, these can be accessed too via digital access.

Still, as masks will not be required, but their use in restrooms and indoor spaces is recommended for the comfort of others as well masks for those 16 and under who are unvaccinated are strongly encouraged.

Most safety protocols implemented for reduced capacity will stay in place indefinitely including cashless transactions (Apple Pay, Google Pay). As mobile ordering for food, beverage, and merchandise, completely digital ticketing a clear bag policy and enhanced sanitation protocols.

The sale of group tickets and hospitality will be available for the remainder of the season and single-game tickets will go on sale in the coming week with dates to be determined.
