The Portland Timbers beat the Los Angles Galaxy  3-0 on Saturday 22, 2021, at Providence Park, in an important match up for western conference of Major League Soccer. All goals were scored in the second half, twice by Felipe Mora (47, 60), and Valeri from the penalty spot on minute 69. Special mention to Timbers defender José Van Rankin, author the assists on Mora’s first goal, and provoking the penalty that got Portland’s third goal. LA Galaxy played with 10 men after Derrick Williams got a red card on minute 43 for a dangerous foul on Andy Polo, who had to be substituted due to injury as a result of the challenge (Photo by Diego G.
