Portland Timbers got an important win in the West Conference run to the play offs beating FC Dallas by a minimum margin. The single goal came at minute 25 by Timbers forward Franc Boli, who tallied his fourth goal this season. The match was marked by the strengths of the defenseless, and two teams that didn’t give much spaces to create good attacking football. The match was very hard fought, very physical that saw Timbers defensive midfielder Cristian Parades have one of his best performances in his career with the green and gold. Some good work that was recognized by his selection to the league’s top eleven of the week. Another accolade to note was the also Timbers defensive midfielder Diego Chara’s 400th game with Portland across all competitions.
