SEATTLE, WA–The University of Washington Women’s Soccer team opened its season last Thursday with a 3-0 win over Fresno State at Husky Soccer Stadium. The Huskies got goals from Karlee Stueckle, Kyla Ferry, and Hailey Still all in the first half in the win over the Bulldogs. Then on Sunday, the Huskies thrashed Air Force, 5-0. Five different Huskies scored in the match–Kala McDaniel, Karlee Stueckle, Hailey Still, Helena Reischling, and Tatum Thomason. This Thursday, the Lady Huskies head to SoCal for a pair of matches, first against Loyola Marymount on Thursday and then Long Beach State on Sunday.
